Physical Appearance: February 18, 1864 - H[ea]d Q[uarte]rs Army of Northern V[irgini]a - W[alter] H[erron] Taylor to Lieut[enant] Gen[era]l R[ichard] S[toddert] Ewell, Com[man]d[in]g Corps - Acknowledges receipt of Ewell's letter dated the 16th. Sends General Lee's advisement to assign disabled men as teamsters to relieve able-bodied men. Signed "W. H. Taylor" A[ssistant] A[djutant] Gen[era]l.

<> February 18, 1864 - R[ichard] S[toddert] E[well] to [Brigadier] Gen[era]l G[eorge] H. Steuart - Requesting names of his men unfit for infantry service and might be transferred to teamsters. Signed "R. S. E." Note at bottom, "Rec[eive]d St[uart]'s Brig[ade] 20 Feb[ruary] [18]64."
