Physical Appearance: Autographed letter signed by John S. Mosby to Joseph Bryan, dated April 23, 1905 in Washington, written on Department of Justice letterhead. Mosby writes Joseph Bryan venting: "the truth is that I would not have written my letter if the men who made these charges had not belonged to the 14th Pa. Calvary." Felt slurred by charges from men of the former 14th Pennsylvania Cavalry. Mosby states that the "Times-Dispatch" editors would run his reputation.
