Letter from John S. Mosby to Dr. Aristides Monteiro, August 7, 1894
Physical Appearance: Autographed letter signed from John S. Mosby to Dr. Aristides Monteiro, dated August 7, 1894 in San Francisco. Mosby repeats to Dr. Monteiro the same information, more or less, found in the July 23 missive. Mosby says that he has not heard from Monteiro for some time and wonders if the doctor received the copy of "War Reminiscences" that he sent him. Mosby states that he has now written several articles for his daughter Stuart, a newspaper correspondent. (See "Letters of J. S. Mosby," p. 70-71.) 2 pp. Marks: "No. 31" in top margin.
