Physical Appearance: March 17, 1863 - Note from Maj[or] John Pelham at Culpeper C[ourt] H[ouse], [Virginia], to Capt[ain Marcellus Newton] Moorman, Moorman's Battery - Intructions to be alert, as a large cavalry force is between Morrisville and Beallton Station. States that, if everything is quiet, Pelham will be at Rapidan Station the next day. Signed "Jno. Pelham."
