Physical Appearance: Autographed letter signed by John S. Mosby to Dr. Aristides Monteiro, dated May 25, 1894, at The Stewart 1101 Pine St., San Francisco. Mosby states he got back on the 23rd, and reminisces on days spent in Richmond - "stayed a day with Bob Walker, was sorry his pretty wife wasn't at home." Mosby sends regards to Dr. Monteiro and all his Virginia cronies, Tom Booker, Joe Bryan, Chamblin, Jordan. Asks the doctor to send him a long letter with all the local news. 1 pp. Marks: "No. 24" but crossed out to read "No. 25."
