Physical Appearance: August 22, 1863 - A[mbrose] P[owell] Hill at H[ea]d Q[uarte]rs 3d Corps, to Gen[eral] [Unidentified] - Sends report from his scouts of an enemy infantry division located near Hartford Church with vigilant pickets. Has sent some scouts by Stafford Court House in an attempt to get behind. Will be back tomorrow night. Signed "A. P. Hill" L[ieutenan]t Gen[eral]. 1 page.
