M. - T[homas] J[onathan] Jackson, to Brig[adier] Gen[era]l Lawrence O'B[rien] Branch - Advises Branch on how to best fortify his position to repel enemy attack. Signed, "T. J. Jackson" Major General. 1 page, written in pencil. A number label "36" is attached near the upper left corner. The communication is glued to a thick paperboard. A typed transcript of the communication is glued to the reverse of that paperboard. The writing on the note is faint, but still legible. Photocopies of the communication and the transcript are available in the folder.
